He began his career in Silicon Valley where he gained significant experience representing early-stage tech companies through formation, early-stage legal issues, venture backed financing rounds, and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Pearson Butler, Patrick worked for multiple Silicon Valley-based AmLaw 100 law firms, as well as was in-house mergers and acquisitions and securities counsel for a Fortune 200 publicly held company. While there, Patrick also acted as lead counsel of the company’s minority investment division.
Currently, Patrick focuses his practice on representing local Silicon Slopes startup companies. His experience working in Silicon Valley gives him valuable insights into the legal needs of early-stage companies. As a co-founder of a startup himself, Patrick I extremely passionate about and extremely active in the local startup community.
