Immigration practice is my calling. It’s an opportunity to serve people. I’ve been an Immigration attorney for over 18 years and find the practice very rewarding as I help people from all over the world obtain legal status in the U.S. for the opportunity to access the American Dream! I can relate to their plight because I myself was an immigrant. I came to the U.S. when I was 12, after my mother, who got legal resident status as a nurse, petitioned for my father and her children. I became a U.S. Citizen at 18. Later on, I married someone who is also from the Philippines and ended up petitioning for him. With this background, I can honestly tell my clients I understand what they are going through, I’d been there myself!
I love to travel the world and see the countries where my clients are from. I get a deeper understanding of their cultures and the reasons they have chosen to live in America. I’ve been to 31 countries so far, counting the U.S. and the Philippines. I’ve seen the Amazon, the Andes, and the Himalayas. I’ve witnessed the beauty of the Taj Mahal, and my favorite country is Spain.
