About the Event
Every year, Legal Aid hosts an annual fundraising gala that allows the organization to assist low-income families with their legal challenges. Tickets start at $125 and a silent auction of donated items furthers the fundraising effort. This year, the gala took place at The Little America hotel in Salt Lake City on September 27th at 6 p.m. Attendees dressed as their favorite super, literary, and historic heroes to match the “Legal Aid Needs a Hero!” theme.
About Legal Aid
The Legal Aid Society of Salt Lake was founded in 1922 and helps low-income families and individuals obtain effective, efficient legal advocacy and assistance. By providing this legal empowerment, Legal Aid promotes safety, stability, and self-sufficiency within at-risk communities.
As a non-profit organization, Legal Aid also pursues protective orders and civil stalking injunctions on behalf of domestic violence victims, regardless of their incomes.
