Helping Sponsor South Jordan Students for Scholarships
Pearson Butler proudly co-sponsored the SoJo Summerfest Mulligans Golf Tournament, and 4 of the firm’s esteemed attorneys took time out of their busy schedules to participate in the event. This charity tournament happens every year as part of the SoJo Summerfest to sponsor children for scholarships, but this year’s tournament took a virtual approach to align with COVID-19 safety precautions. Despite this significant change, Pearson Butler remained undeterred from helping their local community.
COVID-19 Adaptations
From June 1st to 7th, tournament golfers were required to play 9 holes on a par 3 course or an executive course to participate in the event. United States Golf Association (USGA) rules applied for the majority of the tournament. After golfers finished their selected course, scorecards were submitted, and a committee verified them with discretion.
